Spice up your life with our signature Bodhiac ginger drinks

We love ginger and like to add it to our drinks. Meet the ginger shot, our ginger tea and the ginger mocktail!

Ginger has so many health benefits and I'm sure most of you know some of them but I'm just going to line them up for you one more time. Ginger is great against nausea, eases menstrual cramps, relieves indigestion and has anti-inflammatory properties. It also regulates your blood sugar levels, is full of antioxidants and can prevent cell damage. It helps your immune system stay strong and is believed to have antimicrobial properties, which means it may reduce the growth of bacteria, viruses and fungus.

Here are the recipes for our favorite ginger drinks, simple, easy and healthy!

Ginger Shot

For all of these drinks, you'll need to make your ginger shot.

You need:

- 1 big ginger root

- 1 liter of cold water

How to make it:

- Wash your chunk of ginger

- Cut your ginger into pieces (leave the peel on)

- Put your ginger in a blender and add the water. Blend well

- Place a sieve cloth in a strainer and catch your juice in a cute bottle

- You can save this juice in the refrigerator for several days

For the shot, just pour your ginger juice in a shot glass! It's spicy but a great way to start your day, or to pick you up throughout the day.

Ginger tea

Pour a shot of ginger into a cup and add boiling water. It's great on its own like this, but also very tasty with some honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon. Also great with some thyme.

The Bodhiac mocktail

Pour a shot of ginger into a fancy glass. Add sparkling water, and voila! This mocktail is surprisingly tasty and refreshing. Alice loves it after a workout!
